Development Chef

A Development Chef job will be a central part of any NPD team. Bringing real creativity, culinary flair and craft skills to the team, they will help drive innovation and uniqueness. The pressure in these roles is different from the relentless hours and physicality of working in an AA Rosette or Michelin rated restaurant, but there is certainly challenge to develop new products to a brief that will have a price requirement, to make a product that is nutritionally right for the consumer, is technically safe and actually sells because it tastes great!

To have a Development Chef job, you will need to have had a successful career in at least a 2 AA rosette restaurants but we also set our sights high and have placed numerous chefs who have experienced the culinary excellence and standards required in a Michelin starred environment. We also need to find development chef's with the interpersonal skills and confidence to present their ideas to peers and senior customers. The rewards for development chefs are very good with great salaries and frequently cars and, bonus, pension and health plan.
