Executive Pastry Development Chef

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and skilled Pastry Chef to drive product development and innovation of cakes, desserts, tarts and viennoiserie product ranges for this established food manufacturing company. Become the driving force, an integral part of the team steering them to improve product recipes and deliver new innovation for major retail and foodservice clients. You will play a lead role in the NPD (New Product Development Team) with regular involvement with the process and factory teams and direct customer contact. Through your experience and flair you will be allowed to shape and influence new and existing ranges - working with the factory you should be able to collaboratively problem solve to maximise product potential.

We are looking for that special individual who has a natural talent and infinity with all aspects of Pastry, able to evolve recipes, consider new ingredients and work in tandem with the process and factory teams streamlining processes, reducing wastage.

Not only will you require exceptional Pastry skills but will need to possess engaging interpersonal skills that will allow you to forge trusted relations with clients and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. We will consider Pastry Chefs with or without previous manufacturing exposure.
